General
How quickly can you reach me?
We aim to reach you within 45 minutes. When you call, Naf will tell you where the nearest driver is and give you an honest arrival time based on traffic and your location.
What should I do while I wait?
Move to a safe place if possible and switch on your hazard lights. On motorways, stand well away from the vehicle behind the barrier if it is safe to do so, and keep passengers safe and visible. If you are in a live lane, call 999 first, then call us.
How does pricing work?
Transparent pricing – no hidden charges. Distance, time of day, vehicle type and the kind of recovery all affect the cost, so rather than guessing with an online price list we give you a clear price on the phone before we set off.
What information do you need when I call?
Your exact location (motorway junction, road name or postcode), the vehicle make, model and registration, what the problem is, and any safety concerns such as a hard shoulder, busy road or bad weather. That is enough for us to get moving.
Which areas do you cover?
London & Greater London, the West Midlands & Birmingham, Derbyshire and the surrounding motorway corridors including the M25, M4, M1, M6 and A38. Not sure if we cover your area? Just give us a call — we will let you know.
Can you fix my vehicle at the roadside?
Often, yes. Flat tyres, dead batteries, running out of fuel and lockouts can usually be sorted on the spot so you can carry on with your journey. If it cannot be fixed at the roadside, we will tow the vehicle safely to your home, garage or destination of choice.
Where will you take my vehicle?
Wherever you need it to go: your home, your usual garage, a dealership or bodyshop, or another destination of your choice. Tell us when you call and we will include it in your price.
Do you recover from motorways?
Yes. We cover the M25 orbital and M4 corridor around London, and the M1, M6 and A38 corridors through the Midlands and Derbyshire. Give us the junction numbers you are between and the direction you are travelling.
Are you really available at night and on weekends?
Yes. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. No matter the time or weather, we're ready.
Roadside Assistance
What if it can't be fixed at the roadside?
Then we tow the vehicle safely to your home, garage, or destination of choice. You will know the price before we set off, with no hidden charges.

Yes. We cover the M25, M4, M1, M6 and A38 corridors. If you are in a live lane, call 999 first, get behind the barrier if it is safe, then call us.
Towing & Recovery
Can you tow my vehicle to a garage of my choice?
Yes. We will take it to your home, your usual garage, a dealership or any other destination you choose. Tell us the address when you call.
Do you recover vehicles between London and the Midlands?
Yes. Longer-distance recovery between London, Birmingham and Derbyshire is available. Distance affects the price, so we will confirm a clear figure on the phone before we set off.
What vehicles can you recover?
Cars, vans and light commercial vehicles. Call us with the make, model and registration and we will confirm straight away.
Jump Starts & Battery Boost
What if the battery is completely dead?
If it will not hold a charge, we can recover the vehicle to your home or garage so you can arrange a replacement.
Can you jump start a van?
Yes. We carry equipment suitable for cars, vans and light commercial vehicles.
Flat Tyre & Wheel Changes
Do you supply new tyres?
We fit your spare or make a temporary repair at the roadside. For a new tyre we will recover you to a nearby tyre centre.
I have a puncture on the motorway, what should I do?
Pull onto the hard shoulder or into an emergency refuge area, switch on your hazard lights, get everyone behind the barrier if it is safe, then call us with the junction numbers.
Fuel Delivery
How much fuel do you bring?
Enough to get you safely to the nearest petrol station, where you can fill up as normal.
I put the wrong fuel in, can you help?
Do not start the engine. Call us and we will advise and, if needed, recover the vehicle to a garage that can drain the tank.
Lockout / Key Recovery
Will you need proof the vehicle is mine?
For your protection we may ask for identification and proof of ownership before gaining entry to a vehicle.
Can you cut a new key?
We focus on getting you back in or recovering the vehicle. If a new key needs programming we will recover you to a dealer or locksmith of your choice.
Accident Recovery
Do I have to use the recovery company my insurer sends?
No. You are free to choose your own recovery company and have the vehicle taken to a bodyshop you trust.
What should I do at the scene?
Make sure everyone is safe, call 999 if anyone is hurt or the road is blocked, exchange details with the other driver, take photos, then call us to recover the vehicle.
Motorcycle & Light Commercial Recovery
Can I travel with my bike or van?
In most cases, yes. Let us know how many people need to travel when you call.
Do you recover larger commercial vehicles?
We cover light commercial vehicles. For anything larger, call us and we will advise.
Winching & Off-Road Recovery
Can you recover a car from a field or ditch?
Yes, where it is safe and appropriate to do so. Tell us as much as you can about the position of the vehicle when you call.
Will winching damage my car?
We attach only to proper recovery points and assess the situation before pulling. If a safe recovery is not possible we will say so.
