Terms of service

These terms apply to every roadside assistance, towing and recovery job carried out by Breakdown Recovery Hub ("we", "us"). By booking a job you agree to them.

Quotes and prices

• Transparent pricing – no hidden charges. Call us and we'll give you a clear price before we set off.
• Your price is based on the information you give us when you call. If the job turns out to be materially different (for example the vehicle will not roll or steer, or the destination changes), we will tell you the revised price before continuing.
• Unavoidable third-party charges such as toll roads or crossings are passed on at cost and mentioned when we quote.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed with you in advance.

Cancellations

If you cancel after a driver has been dispatched, we may charge a reasonable call-out fee to cover the driver's time and fuel.

Your vehicle

• You confirm that you own the vehicle or are authorised to arrange its recovery. We may ask for identification or proof of ownership, particularly for lockouts.
• Please remove valuables before the vehicle is loaded. We are not responsible for personal items left inside the vehicle.
• Pre-existing damage will be noted before the vehicle is moved.

Safety

If you are on a motorway or fast road you must follow the instructions of the police and National Highways and stay in a place of safety until our driver arrives. Our drivers may decline to attempt a recovery or winch where it cannot be done safely.

Liability

We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures or instructions from the police or National Highways, although we will always keep you informed. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
