Privacy policy

Breakdown Recovery Hub ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through https://breakdownrecoveryhub.co.uk and our phone lines. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• When you call or message us: your name, phone number, location, vehicle details and a description of the problem.
• When you use the callback form: the details you enter (name, phone number, location, vehicle, issue and message) and the page you sent it from.
• When you use the website: cookieless, aggregated analytics (page views, device type, country) provided by Vercel Web Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and carry out a roadside assistance, towing or recovery job (performance of a contract).
• To keep records of completed jobs for accounting purposes (legal obligation).
• To improve the website and understand which pages are useful (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

Callback form submissions are delivered to us by Resend, an email delivery service, and our website is hosted by Vercel. We share job details with our own drivers to carry out the work, and with a garage or repairer only where you have asked us to deliver a vehicle there. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted within 12 months. Records of completed jobs are kept for 6 years for accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by calling us on 07449 935188 or emailing obaid.ullah11@hotmail.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
